In “Potpourri”, the ways in which these can bend the pathways of our lives are represented by a road which suddenly twists and frequently bends back upon itself. The series of different colored areas along the road represents the variety of these challenges and serves to remind us that, because each of us faces different challenges, it truly isn’t about being first, it’s about doing our best.
