The piece has two faces, the stone face with the eyes closed depicts the missing women, the other face (carved in the bone) Is in sadness and prayer.  The drum dancer is both women; while she drums she prays for the healing of all missing and murdered women and girls.
On the drum drawn above the faces, shows an igloo with the family all together and at home. That is her wish for all the families that have had this happen. To have peace in their hearts and homes.
Manasie is a Drum Dancer. He too uses his drum daily to pray. It his way of making a connection to source. He prays for all of humanity, but in this piece there is a part of him expressing his heartfelt prayers for all missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.
